Important Information
Disclaimer
Please read this before interpreting or sharing your score. It explains what this assessment can reasonably tell you, and what it cannot.
Not a clinical or diagnostic instrument
- This assessment is provided for education, self-interest and general interest only.
- It is not a clinical, psychological, psychiatric, educational or medical evaluation, and it does not diagnose any condition.
- It is not administered, supervised or interpreted by a licensed psychologist.
- Nothing here is a substitute for assessment by a qualified professional. If you have concerns about cognitive function, learning or development, speak to a doctor or a registered psychologist.
How to read your score
- Your score is an estimate derived from your answers to this specific question set. It is not a fixed or official measurement of intelligence.
- Results from a self-administered, unproctored online test are less reliable than a supervised assessment. Fatigue, distraction, time pressure, screen size, familiarity with puzzles and prior practice all affect the outcome.
- Scores from this test are not interchangeable with those from other instruments, and retaking it is likely to produce a different number.
- Progressive matrices measure non-verbal abstract reasoning. That is one narrow facet of human ability, and it says nothing about your creativity, judgement, knowledge, skills, character or worth.
Do not use these results for consequential decisions
- This assessment must not be used for employment screening, hiring, promotion, admissions, educational placement, clinical judgement, legal proceedings, or any decision affecting a person's opportunities or rights.
- It is intended for adults taking the test on their own behalf, out of personal interest.
